FREEDOM IS NOT SOMETHING YOU CAN BUY AT THE MALL :P:P:P

Freedom is not the freedom to buy whatever you want at the shopping mall. Freedom is not the freedom to choose between psychological poison and environmental pollution. Freedom is the purest expression of human existence. Freedom is the violent need inside of every human being for justice, dignity and equality.
Freedom is not the freedom to write lyrics that objectify women. Freedom is not the freedom to spend your whole life waiting to be entertained by the mass media machine. Freedom is not the freedom to buy a house as large as your ever growing ego. Freedom is not the freedom to buy a dream that keeps people in a state of constant detachment.
Freedom is the highest form of humanity, freedom is the highest stage of human existence.
It is time to acknowledge that we will not accept the socially engineered definition of consumer-driven freedom anymore. It is time to denounce the vehicles of capital that insist that freedom exists even as the military machine continues to grow. It is time to laugh at those that claim to live in a free society even as more prisons are built each year.
Freedom cannot exist along the sides of militarism. Freedom cannot exist along the sides of consumerism. Freedom cannot exist so long as we live in an exploitive culture which turns human beings into financial assets.
Freedom cannot exist as long as financial institutions push impoverished nations into debt slavery. Freedom cannot exist as long as children starve while the elites are being thoroughly entertained. Freedom cannot exist as long as teenagers are turned into blind consumers of the dominant agenda.
It is time to fight for freedom, in the world, in our lives, in ourselves.
